Oven mittens #2

One of my goals was to piece a present for my aunt's 60th birthday.
My aunt asked the guests instead of making her gifts to make a donation for the leukaemia foundation of Jose Carreras (a famous spanish operatic tenor who recovered from leukaemia in the late 80s), .

I wanted to give her a small present as well. My aunt is a very good cook and so I decided she needs some handmade oven mittens. I used the same pattern as I used for my oven mittens.

The party took place last Sunday. In the morning I wrapped the mittens and my daughter tried several times to unwrap the gift. So I put them on top of the shelf to save the mittens from my daughter. The mittens are still sitting there because I forgot them. But my aunt doesn't know about my blog, so I can show them to you.

Ich bin hin und weg ;-) Tolles Modell und cooler Stoff. Die Idee "Kaffee und Kuchen" zu vernähen ist genial :-)
Liebe Grüße
Angelika
