Baby Quilt finished

On Friday evening I did the last stitch on the 'disappearing 9-patch' baby quilt for my new nephew #2. The back fabric is a cosy fleece in light blue.

Yesterday was the fourth birthday of nephew #1. He invited us to his birthday party and to watch his cute baby brother for the first time.
I can not remember that my kids ever have been so little, but I suppose they were.

My brother and SIL doesn't expected a second quilt and they already picked up the quilt I made for nephew #1 - Paul's Rabbit.

The size of the quilt is 110 cm * 151 cm and it was one of my fastest project.
When I made Paul's baby quilt I was preparing the making very long. With this quilt I was not quite sure whether I will make a quilt because I was not in a quilting mood. But when I heard about the birth I decided to make one and I remembered the 'disappearing 9-patches'.
