Redwork top finished

During the week-end I contacted a fellow blogger and asked her whether she is okay, because she didn't post for two weeks. And then I realiezed that my last post was two weeks ago.

In the meantime I finished my redwork top. I choosed shashing stripes in two differnent shades of red - I was inspired by Erika's layout.

I'm not quite sure about the quilting. I love handquilting but I can't think about pressing the stitched blocks in the frame. But machine quilting (which I have to learn first...)

Das Top sieht klasse aus. Vielleicht sollte ich meine Blöcke auch mal wieder rausholen ?

Beautiful! I like the two different red fabric for the border.

I like very much the 2 reds you chose for the sashing. The top looks great like that. I would not do much quilting on that one, maybe just enough to keep it together. I hope you will post pictures of your Picovoli top, I made it last year and I think it is a very nice pattern for summer (if it ever comes!).
Take care.
