Quilt-Show: Fossilien Quilter Messel and MixTex

Last weekend I visited a lovely quiltshow in Messel. Two quilt groups decided to do one quilt show together: Fossilien Quilter Messel and MixTex.

They showed 94 quilts in total at a small house with small rooms on various levels. The big quilts were showed in the reception area where you also get some coffee, wine, soft drinks and nice chats.

All other rooms and floors were decorated with wandhanging quilts in various sizes. Some quilts looked very simular because they were made during a class and some where totally different. Some ladies are working traditionally and some are working very modern. But the mixture of both makes the charm of the show.

These two quilts were made by Gaby Schultz-Herzberger who is also a member of the quilt artist group 'FreiScherler'.

This quilt is an award winning quilt
