my daughter's dress finished

This dress again was the same type of ufo like my blouse was. The dress was pieced quickly but the bow and the snap fasteners were missing. I finished the dress last week so that my daughter could wear it yesterday which was her second birthday. Today I checked all the pictures we took yesterday but there is no one where you can see the whole dress. So I will show you the 'empty' dress.

  • Pattern: Octobre kids fashion 06/2007 pattern 9 in size 92
  • Fabric: outer fabric hot pink cord purchased at stoffe.de
  • lining and pockets patchwork fabric

Two weeks at the sewing class I had a bad headache. I only made a few pattern and cut some fabric. Last week I nearly finished another dress for my daughter and started the lotus tunic designed by Amy Butler.

Such a nice dress, a shame I have one son! Pink is not really his favourite colour! I made some clothes from Ottobre magazines too. They have great designs for kids.
The Amy Butler top looks great. I am curious to see what fabric you will choose. Take care.
