Scappy lengthwise scarf finished

The scrappy lengthwise scarf was already finished in January, but I mailed it of to my SIL last Tuesday and I wanted to be sure that it has arrived before I show the pic on my blog.

My SIL has a bright red winter coat and when I saw the cranberry Zauberball I knew that this is the perfect colour for a scarf. Heike bought the Zauberball at WollZeit and sent it to me because it was out of stock when I was there.

I read about this pattern in a ravelry forum (Sockenanja) and I thought it would be a fast knitting. But with 420 stitches, 2.5 yarn and 4mm needles it took quite a while, but the outcome it worth the effort.

Pattern: Scrappy lengthwise scarf by Zona Sherman (Ravelry-Link)
Size: 420 stitches
Needles: US 6 / 4 mm
Yarn: 100 g of Schoppel Zauberball
Colour: cranberry

Der Schal sieht wirklich klasse aus. Ich staune immer wieder, was man aus 100 Gr Wolle "zaubern" kann.
